Lietuvėlė is a Lithuanian and Eastern European grocery store in Darien, Illinois, that has been preserving Lithuanian traditions and familiar tastes of home in the United States for many years. Its selection ranges from smoked meats, fresh bread, pastries, dairy products, and sweets to amber jewellery, ceramics, books, and Lithuanian gifts.

Behind Lietuvėlė is entrepreneur Laura Bučas, whose businesses—Old Vilnius Cafe, Grand Duke’s Restaurant, and Lietuvėlė—bring Eastern European culture, flavours, and traditions closer to the local community.

As Lietuvėlė entered a new chapter in its story, the Gilės Projektai team was entrusted with redesigning the lietuvele.com online store. We created a modern website design, improved its structure, and implemented new Wix Stores features to make the extensive product selection easy to explore and the shopping experience smooth and convenient.

The redesigned online store helps Lietuvėlė reach customers across the United States more effectively, reminding us that traditions know no borders—and sometimes, the journey home begins with a familiar taste.
